3rd VBDO Masterclass on SDGs

3rd VBDO Masterclass on SDGs

Thursday 08 February 2018

On February 8, 2018 FMO Investment Management will host the 3rd VBDO Masterclass on SDGs.

On September 25th 2015, all the member states of the United Nations adopted the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which define the global sustainable development priorities and aspirations for 2030. This sustainable development agenda contains 17 goals with specific targets and commit countries to address the root causes of poverty, increase economic growth and prosperity for all, within the boundaries of the planet.

While the SDGs have been agreed upon by all governments, their success relies on action and collaboration by all actors; governments, businesses, civil society and investors. The SDGs offer investment opportunities, and challenges to the investment community.

The VBDO therefore organises three masterclasses on the SDGs in co-operation with asset managers, asset-owners and SDG experts. The masterclasses are intended for all actors in the field of SDGs and particularly for asset owners and asset managers with SDG ambitions.

This third masterclass offers an insight into integrating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in active ownership activities, achieving SDG results and SDG reporting.

Registration is now open to all who wish to achieve their SDGs.  Click here and register for free.

Vistaar Financial Services was the idea of two first-generation entrepreneurs who had witnessed first-hand the lack of both financial and non-financial support for smaller enterprises and businesses across the country. It was clear that a “one-size-fits-all” approach when it came to financing wasn’t sustainable or practical in the long run; to truly help the local economy boom, customized products needed to be offered.
